Wanted

This is not the review of the movie Wanted. You have been warned... ;-)

My current job have me designated as Consultant, working for a local incorporated company called Centric 128. I joined this company since last April 2008. This company is a sister company for Australia incorporated company, eCentric Innovation (eCI).

eCI is one of the rapidly growing software consultation company in Melbourne currently. Most of the business coming from Melbourne. Centric 128 comes to picture by playing the role of technical hub to eCI. Here (Centric 128), consultant will advise and implement the technical part (mostly programming related). The project offers ranges from various programming language and platform, but mostly on .NET (both desktop and web), java (mostly web), and Lotus Notes platform.

Honestly, I find myself satisfied with the challenge while delivering my assignment here. For me, the challenge is neither too easy or too difficult. So, it is hard to get bored and complain about opportunity to learn new skills.

In term of job environment, all the co-workers are friendly and very helpful. Perhaps, the only complain is that the workplace is too quite. Here, we leverage technology for communication greatly. We use Skype for communication between us, Melbourne team, and the clients. We also have proper project management portal system that is very helpful to manage the project delivery. Last but not least, like any other competent software house, we make use of source control to version our source code (here, we use Subversion).

Currently, we are looking for more members to be added into our team. If you are interested to know more about this, please contact me. My email is available at the very top of this blog.

Thanks
